The Crystal and Artistic Glass Fair

The most famous trade fair in Yiwu is the International Small Commodities Fair. But throughout the year there are other more specialized fairs and exhibitions highlighting particular industries.

The Yiwu Crystal and Artistic Glass Fair brings together buyers and sellers of thousands of glass and crystal products, including beads, figurines, game boards, and night club decorations.

Entry is free for prospective purchasers. All you need to supply is a company business card.

Compared with the Futian Market, the Crystal and Glass Fair is rather small and limited in scope. But it is fascinating to see the variety of products available even within a niche such as glassworks. The fair also gives buyers an opportunity to speak directly with factory representatives.

On the whole, the goods on display are more expensive and classy than the stuff found in the Futian Market. Most things can be modified and customized to fit your needs. A paperweight shaped like a glass bottle can be inscribed with "Coke" or "Pepsi" or some other beverage. One stall had dozens of decorative vases inscribed with "Outstanding Leadership Award: Jessica Weck."

Of course, you can submit your own requirements including pictures, text, or changes in color.
